This is a cyanotype on 250gsm watercolour paper, with some bleaching with soda crystals, some watercolour and tissue collage. The piece is shown here framed in an 18x24cm frame, price is without frame. The frameless piece will be shipped with flat protection. If you would like a frame of my choice, please send me a message. I sometimes use recycled packaging.
I made the piece to express a feeling of being both nurturing and submissive. The soft, warm wool is a heavy mantle. The shearing of sheep is being kind, but it is also stressful, sometimes painful, to the animals.

Cyanotypes last a really long time. However, please avoid hanging the work in direct sunlight. The sun can fade the blue, although if this happens you can put it away in the dark for a while and the piece will get its colour back.
